“I wanted to take a new approach to the design concepts for this year’s 2026 Rest In Power Collection, and the only thing that kept ringing in my ears was to ‘design things that Matt would like himself.’ So I stepped back from the creative direction of previous years and sank into the quiet nostalgia of old photos, long-forgotten screenshots, and anything that echoed ‘Matt’. This new collection was meticulously crafted with Matt in mind. My intention was to move beyond ‘just a dedication’ and create something that felt like a deeper ode to him. About the Design: The ‘Eternal Flame’ is inspired by one of Matts favorite clothing brands, “Two In The Shirt”, or better known as “TITS”. Matt had what seemed like a closet full of these tees that featured half-naked models in various poses with slogans adorned as a massive screen print across the front. For a slightly more “tasteful” approach, but to still honor his taste, I went with a pinup style model flicking a cigarette and tied it back to the reminder to keep the fire burning in Matts’ name eternally, so that he’s never forgotten.
