“I wanted to take a new approach to the design concepts for this year’s 2026 Rest In Power Collection, and the only thing that kept ringing in my ears was to ‘design things that Matt would like himself.’ So I stepped back from the creative direction of previous years and sank into the quiet nostalgia of old photos, long-forgotten screenshots, and anything that echoed ‘Matt’. This new collection was meticulously crafted with Matt in mind. My intention was to move beyond ‘just a dedication’ and create something that felt like a deeper ode to him. About the Design: The rose is historically one of the most symbolic flowers and carries different meanings depending on color, bloom and context. In memorials, a traditional red rose typically represents the deepest emotions associated with the grief and the ache of missing someone.
