“I wanted to take a new approach to the design concepts for this year’s 2026 Rest In Power Collection, and the only thing that kept ringing in my ears was to ‘design things that Matt would like himself.’ So I stepped back from the creative direction of previous years and sank into the quiet nostalgia of old photos, long-forgotten screenshots, and anything that echoed ‘Matt’. This new collection was meticulously crafted with Matt in mind. My intention was to move beyond ‘just a dedication’ and create something that felt like a deeper ode to him. About the Design: The ‘Wreath of Wrath’ features a hurricane of cherubs (that nod back to the original Rest In Power graphic from 2016), mixed with various florals & skulls - reminiscent of some of the most iconic Y2K streetwear imagery that ruled in popularity when SOSICO. was in its prime. Interwoven throughout the wreath is Matt’s iconic mariner-style chain that he was known to wear daily. Final highlight is a sneaky little pot leaf poking through in one corner.
